YOUR ROLE

  • Work closely with the nurse;

  • Contribute to the assessment and delivery of patient care;

  • Administer medications;

  • Implement isolation measures;

  • Document medical notes;

  • Participate in all stages of the transfer.

Requested skills

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Be a member of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ) or the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ);

  • Experience in critical care (an asset);

  • Functional English (an asset);

  • Hold a valid driver’s license;

  • Be available to arrive at the Rouyn-Noranda airport within one hour of being called for a mission.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills;

  • Possess strong communication skills;

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems;

  • Highly organized, methodical, and proactive;

  • Customer service and safety-oriented;

  • Versatile, flexible, reliable, and punctual;

  • Knowledge of Indigenous communities and their dialects (an asset).
