YOUR ROLE

  • Manage patients' airways in collaboration with medical staff when required;

  • Monitor vital signs and implement medical prescriptions for patients on BiPAP and CPAP ventilation;

  • Operate the Hamilton T1 ventilator;

  • Document notes in patient files;

  • Implement isolation measures;

  • Participate in all stages of patient transfer.

Requested skills

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Be a member of the Ordre Professionnel des Inhalothérapeutes du Québec (OPIQ);

  • Experience in critical care (an asset);

  • Hold a valid driver’s license;

  • Be available to arrive at the Rouyn-Noranda airport within one hour of being called for a mission.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills;

  • Possess solid communication skills;

  • Analytical and problem-solving ability;

  • Highly organized, methodical, and proactive;

  • Safety and customer service-oriented;

  • Versatile, flexible, reliable, and punctual;

  • Knowledge of Indigenous communities and their dialects (an asset).
