Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for the full-time International Liaison Officer will be wide in scope and will include many different tasks and responsibilities. Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
- Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
- Carry out administrative activities of establishment
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
- Resolve conflict situations
- Monitor and evaluate
- Co-ordinate administrative services
- Coordinate cultural events at the school
- Assist students in preparing for the Chinese Language Equivalency Assessment and administer exams
- Coordinate educational trips for Chinese language and cultural studies
- Arrange visits by teachers from our sister school in China
- Organize summer exchange programs
- Develop the school's collaborations in China that are of benefit to the Chinese language and cultural program at school
Education
Bachelor's degree
Experience
7 months to less than 1 year
Skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to handle highly confidential information
Excellent English written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to make sound judgement and decisions
Proven attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively independently or in teams giving and taking direction
