Prevost, a division of Volvo Group Canada Inc., is currently looking for Branch Manager for its Mississauga’s Service Center.

What you will do:

The Branch Manager - Mississauga, has a key role in the Volvo Group, Prevost Division to develop and mobilize the members of their team to meet business goals and ensure repeat business and continued customer loyalty.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site leadership; motivation and direction for the branch staff
  • Expand the customer base and branch profitability
  • Leading and fostering winning teams, cross functionally, while challenging status quo
  • Implement improvements and efficiencies in the branch Develop personal, professional and technical skills for themselves and their team on an ongoing basis
  • Resolve conflicts between the team members and customers
  • High degree of fostering team working within demanding environment
  • Business owner mentality (entrepreneur mindset) with strong financial acumen
  • Ability to interpret Profit & Loss (P & L) statement – with ability to develop strategies / business management corrections to exploit market opportunities, business development
  • Ensure the compliance with policies, rules, and values of the company
  • Additional responsibilities assigned by manager

Requested skills

Who are you? 

  • 10 years of industry-related experience are preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree with a business major preferred or any equivalent training
  • Excellent knowledge about bus, truck, and/or automotive industry
  • Good computer knowledge with Microsoft Office software’s
  • Negotiation skills – ability to balance both sides of sales equation (customer / business objectives)
  • SAP software knowledge would be a big plus 

The Branch Manager’s success will be evaluated by key metrics that include, but are not limited to: 

  • Customer satisfaction levels
  • Branch profitability
  • Teamwork and employee satisfaction
  • Health and safety level
  • Schedules and deadlines

  • Strong managerial, organizational & interpersonal skills
  • Extensive customer contract, including building & maintaining customer relationships
