Receive and process orders to best meet customer expectations. Organize and coordinate all information and requirements necessary for production. Serve as the main point of contact for the customer for all active orders.
Main responsibilities
- Coordinate all steps following receipt of an order, depending on the type of project: obtain or produce samples, create artwork, obtain various approvals, monitor tests and trials, prepare required documents, etc.
- Act as the central point of communication between the customer and internal staff involved in the preparation prior to production;
- Assist external representatives during the bidding process;
- Answer incoming calls and emails from customers;
- Receive and process customer orders according to established procedures;
- Manage the progress of a project on order to ensure delivery within the specified time frame;
- Inform and validate various information and data related to customer requests and orders with external representatives;
- Arrange for product replacement or customer credit as needed, according to established procedures;
- Perform clerical tasks related to orders and ongoing projects;
- Maintain customer files and databases.
