We are a client-focused notary firm seeking a meticulous and engaging Notary to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, meaningful client interactions, and being involved in files from start to finish. You will be supported by a dedicated team, including paralegals who assist throughout the file process, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent service to clients.

Your day will look like:

  • Prepare and execute notarial acts (real estate, wills, mandates, powers of attorney)
  • Meet with clients and clearly explain legal documents
  • Manage files independently from opening to closing
  • Ensure compliance with legal and professional standards
  • Collaborate with banks, lawyers, and other stakeholders

What we’re looking for 

  • Licensed Notary in good standing 
  • Comfortable working in a small, hands-on environment 
  • Strong ability to independently manage schedule, prioritize tasks, and follow up with third parties to ensure requests are completed within established deadlines. 
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software to efficiently manage tasks, maintain records, and support daily operational requirements. 
  • Comfortable working and managing an in-trust bank account according to the by-laws of the profession.
