Member Services Administration Analyst - 12-month contract

The opportunity

The Member Services Administration Analyst position is required for the execution of complex, cyclical, and compliance-oriented processes within the Member Services division to support the overall Member experience and regulatory requirements. This position is intended to provide targeted pension administrative support during periods of seasonal process demands and various compliance activities and deadlines throughout the division.

The Member Services Administration Analyst will report to the Manager, Pension Administration, Member Process.


What you'll do

Execute Member Process process and administration activities

  • Following self-learning and co-mentoring support from peers, the Analyst will be assigned to complete specific, targeted workflow and non-workflow processes or activities.
  • Assigned work to be carried out in an autonomous fashion, maintaining high quality outputs, good judgement, risk awareness, and attention to detail.
  • Task assignments will be pre-determined by Member Services management, are temporary, and rotational in nature.

Execute Quality Assurance process and administration activities

  • Following self-learning and co-mentoring support from peers, the Analyst will be assigned to complete specific, targeted workflow and non-workflow processes or activities.
  • Assigned work to be carried out in an autonomous fashion, maintaining high quality outputs, good judgement, risk awareness, and attention to detail.
  • Task assignments will be pre-determined by Member Services management, are temporary, and rotational in nature.

Execute Employer Experience process and administration activities

  • Following self-learning and co-mentoring support from peers, the Analyst will be assigned to complete specific, targeted workflow and non-workflow processes or activities.
  • Assigned work to be carried out in an autonomous fashion, maintaining high quality outputs, good judgement, risk awareness, and attention to detail.
  • Task assignments will be pre-determined by Member Services management, are temporary, and rotational in nature.

Execute other areas process, project and administration activities

  • Following self-learning and co-mentoring support from peers, the Analyst will be assigned to complete specific, targeted workflow and non-workflow processes or activities (examples include, but not limited to, Actuarial Services, Finance, etc).
  • Assigned work to be carried out in an autonomous fashion, maintaining high quality outputs, good judgement, risk awareness, and attention to detail.
  • Task assignments will be pre-determined by Member Services management, are temporary, and rotational in nature.

Look for and implement process improvement ideas/initiatives

  • Analyse task assignments with intent to improve operational efficiencies by providing solutions on reducing non-value added process steps.
  • Document process improvement ideas/initiatives in central repository.

What you'll need

  • 2+ years of Data Administration experience in Employer Experience, or similar
  • Ability to work autonomously and offer support to peers in work areas without precedent
  • Proven analytical sills with great attention to detail
  • High attention to quality, controls, and procedure
  • Effectively shift focus and priorities, at times with little notice
  • High degree of confidentiality and discretion
  • Excellent research, investigation, and written communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of data systems in use at Teachers’ (Ed, SMS, Microsoft office, PowerAutomate, Power BI, etc.)
  • Proficient understanding of the Teachers’ Pension Act (TPA), board policies/procedures and internal work flow processes

This position is eligible for base salary and annual incentive based on individual and enterprise performance. 

Base Salary starting at $81,600 with future opportunity of up to $91,500.
