Description
The Maintenance Coordinator at Nolinor is responsible for coordinating heavy maintenance activities between the various maintenance departments, including production, planning, airworthiness and stores. Under the supervision of the Heavy Maintenance Manager, the incumbent ensures the efficient planning, availability of resources and the proper execution of maintenance work to ensure compliance, safety and punctuality of operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate the execution of heavy maintenance visits with the production, planning, airworthiness and stores departments;
- Review upcoming maintenance projects and prepare an execution plan in collaboration with the Heavy Maintenance Manager, supervisors, store, and planning.
- Organize and update unplanned task cards in the computerized maintenance system;
- Review pending part requests in the system on a daily basis and perform inventory part pickup for scheduled and unscheduled tasks;
- Ensure that all necessary components, tools and materials are available before the work begins;
- Participate in weekly maintenance meetings and coordinate changes to the execution plan as required;
- Notify the Maintenance Planning Manager when adjustments to the schedule are required due to unforeseen changes;
- Produce and review the daily heavy maintenance progress report as well as the parts shortage list;
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities requested by the Heavy Maintenance Manager.
Requirements and skills :
- Training in aircraft maintenance or a related field (an asset);
- Relevant experience in heavy maintenance coordination (experience on Boeing 737 an asset);
- Knowledge of the office suite and logistics processes related to parts management;
- Excellent organizational, planning and communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Good team player, rigor and attention to detail;
- Fluency in French and English, both oral and written.
