About Brucejack

Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

Your Impact

As a Supervisor Asset Management, Underground Fixed Plant, you will lead and coordinate asset management programs that ensure the safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of critical underground infrastructure. Your leadership will support operational excellence and compliance with Newmont’s asset performance standards.

As Part of Our Team, You Will
  • Lead the planning and coordination of underground fixed plant asset management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with management systems that promote safe and efficient operations.
  • Monitor asset performance and implement improvements using data-driven analysis.
  • Oversee QA/QC initiatives and continuous improvement practices.
  • Support cost control efforts and deliver detailed reporting to leadership.
  • Supervise and coach your team to meet safety and operational goals.
  • Evaluate risks and execute mitigation strategies aligned with production goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to deliver asset management objectives.

Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  • Red Seal Millwright ticket (required)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in asset management or maintenance in underground mining environments.
  • Strong knowledge of asset performance standards, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Proficient in data analysis, report writing, contractor/vendor oversight, and improvement planning.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a safety-first mindset.
  • Comfortable working in underground settings and adhering to PPE and operational safety protocols.
  • Proficient with CMMS (SAP) and computer software programs (word, excel, powerpoint)

Your Work Environment
  • Location: Brucejack Mine (remote, fly-in/fly-out)
  • Rotation: 13 days on / 13 days off
  • Facilities: Private room, all meals provided, access to gym, recreation, and camp amenities
  • Conditions: Underground, camp-based environment with heavy equipment exposure
  • Requirements: Pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol testing, and PPE compliance

We are now recruiting for the position of Supervisor Asset Management, UG Fixed Plant with a competitive annual salary of CAD 103,300 -CAD 137,700. The offered base salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies, with consideration to internal equity.

The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
