Our Red Chris Mine, located in the heart of Northern British Columbia on the traditional territory of the Tahltan Nation. Your Impact

As an Advisor, Inventory Control at Newmont Red Chris Site, you will ensure our inventory meets operational needs while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Your work will directly support site reliability and Newmont’s focus on working capital and inventory optimization.

As Part of Our Team, You Will
  • Monitor and manage site inventory levels to ensure alignment with forecasted needs
  • Identify slow-moving inventory and implement strategies to minimize waste
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and cycle count requirements
  • Analyze inventory data to identify root causes of inaccuracies and recommend improvements
  • Support process improvement initiatives for inventory control and material handling
  • Collaborate with procurement, warehousing, and operations teams to align inventory with business goals
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inventory control and/or successfully executed Senior Warehouse positions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Certification in CPIM, CSCP, or similar inventory management certifications is an asset
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) for inventory tracking and reporting
  • Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, ideally in mining or heavy industry
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Your Work Environment
  • Location: Site-based with a regular rotation
  • Work Schedule: 2 weeks on- 2 weeks off
  • Conditions: Exposure to warehouse and industrial settings, requiring PPE compliance

The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
