A career as a Senior Transformation Advisor within the Capital Markets Operations Reconciliations team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in operational transformation and business initiative integration. In this role, you have a direct and positive impact on the organization by leveraging your knowledge of capital markets, your experience in transformation, and your ability to structure and deliver projects in complex environments.

You play a key role in the evolution of reconciliation processes by supporting business and operations teams in implementing sustainable solutions aligned with strategic priorities.

Your role

• Lead the delivery of projects and business initiatives, from impact analysis through solution implementation and target process deployment

• Analyze and understand end-to-end Capital Markets processes to identify interdependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities

• Define and structure target processes and business requirements by assessing operational performance and proposing transformation initiatives

• Represent and influence internal stakeholders in various forums, aligning interests and ensuring strategic coherence across initiatives

• Communicate proactively with leadership on project progress, risks, and issues, providing clear, solution-oriented recommendations

• Contribute to the evolution of transformation practices and the continuous improvement of processes within the team

Your team

Reporting to the Senior Director, Capital Markets Operations Reconciliations, you will be part of a large team of 40 analysts and senior advisors that plays a transversal role in ensuring integrity, control, and governance across Capital Markets activities. More specifically, as a member of the Transformation team, you will contribute to large-scale initiatives aimed at supporting business line growth opportunities and driving technological evolution.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Capital Markets ecosystem
  • Demonstrated experience in project delivery and operational transformation
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, with a strong sense of initiative, ownership, and autonomy
  • Analytical mindset combined with curiosity, rigor, and creativity in the development and implementation of new initiatives
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment with high performance standards
  • Demonstrated influential leadership during the delivery and deployment of initiatives, with the ability to mobilize and align stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence (Power BI considered an asset)

The level of the position may be adjusted based on the selected candidate’s profile, experience, and skills.
