Your role
- Act as a subject matter expert in interpreting and applying regulatory requirements with business partners and compliance teams
- Support and influence business sectors to ensure activities comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Conduct complex analyses and recommend solutions aligned with regulatory and operational challenges
- Monitor and oversee regulatory risks, including those related to business partners
- Develop recommendations and implement measures to mitigate risks and optimize regulatory processes
- Identify and prevent potential non-compliance issues while contributing to the evolution of supervision frameworks

Prerequisites
- Member of the Barreau du Quebec or Chambre des notaires with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in regulatory compliance or risk management
- Knowledge of Personal & Commercial sector activities and their operational and transactional processes
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Bank Act, Consumer Protection Framework, AML regulations)
- Experience analyzing and managing complex cases in a regulated environment
