A career as a Senior full stack developer within the Information Technology Delivery - Capital Markets team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in software development and cloud-based solutions. This role allows you to have a direct impact on technology systems that are essential to corporate financing, by leveraging your expertise in software engineering, DevOps automation, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.
In this role, you contribute to designing, delivering, and continuously evolving robust solutions used at scale. You are involved throughout the entire application lifecycle and work on concrete challenges related to performance, security, and resilience, in an environment where collaboration and code quality are key priorities.
Your role
- Develop, test, deploy, and enhance cloud-based applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) while integrating security best practices.
- Design and maintain solutions and infrastructure following the “everything as code” principle, from development through to production.
- Implement and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to accelerate delivery while ensuring solution quality.
- Automate unit and integration testing, as well as quality control mechanisms, to strengthen the reliability of each release.
- Monitor and support production solutions to quickly detect incidents and ensure high availability.
- Apply resilience and continuity practices to support critical systems in a demanding business environment.

Within the Information Technology Delivery - Capital Markets sector, you are part of a team of 13 colleagues and report to the software development team lead. Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack development.
- Have in-depth experience with Amazon Web Services, including compute, storage, security, and networking services.
- Demonstrate strong experience with source code management tools and continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Master DevOps tools such as Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Be proficient in at least one back-end language, a modern front-end framework, and both relational and non-relational databases.
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, analyze complex problems, and continuously learn in a rapidly evolving technology environment.
