A career as a Senior Full Stack Developer in the IT Wealth Management team at National Bank means taking on the role of both back-end and front-end application developer. Your Role
- Maintain and enhance existing applications while ensuring high standards of code quality and performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA, to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop innovative, creative, robust, and efficient solutions to process and enrich valuation workflows related to sometimes complex products and activities.
- In an Agile environment (SAFe and Scrum), develop and deploy features that deliver maximum value to our various business partners.
- Ensure the quality of your deliverables through automated unit testing.
- Use strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
- Bring forward ideas to improve solution delivery processes.

Within the IT Wealth Management team, you’ll be part of a close-knit team of 8 colleagues and report to the Senior Manager, Asset Management.

Requirements
- Over 7 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in back-end development with TypeScript and Java/JEE (REST, Spring Boot, SOAP, microservices, and APIs).
- Proficiency in front-end application development using JavaScript (React, TypeScript).
- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, or Docker for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure as code.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (Lambdas, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, VPC, EC2, S3, etc.) and familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as ECS, EKS, and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB or similar).
