Your role

  • Identify and develop business opportunities within your market, grow your commercial client base, and implement effective business development strategies
  • Support clients in achieving their business objectives by proposing tailored financial strategies using the most appropriate combination of the Bank’s products and services
  • Anticipate and respond to evolving client needs by adapting and optimizing financial solutions, advice, and approaches
  • Negotiate the terms and conditions of agreements while ensuring compliance with risk management standards and profitability requirements
  • Develop and execute business development plans aligned with regional and organizational objectives
  • Support the Regional Vice-President in achieving performance and growth targets
  • Work closely with the Manager - Financing Solutions to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Actively participate in networking and business development activities (cocktails, conferences, industry events, etc.)
  • Work in synergy with all internal partners and departments of the Bank to ensure a seamless client experience

Your team

You will be part of the Commercial Banking and Private Banking 1859 sector, joining a team of professionals dedicated to supporting business clients. You will operate within a strong ecosystem of specialists, including Financing Solutions Managers, who will help you design and deliver solutions that best meet clients’ needs.

Reporting to the Associate Vice-President, you will manage a portfolio of clients in the Mississauga region.

Prerequisites

  • Depending on your academic background, a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in sales and business development within the financial industry
  • Bachelor’s degree with 7 years’ experience OR Master’s degree with 5 years’ experience
  • Experience in sales and business development
  • Experience in financial statement analysis
  • Experience in commercial credit
  • A network of professional contacts among local medium-sized enterprises and large companies (an asset)
