A career as a Senior Data Steward within the Hyper‑Automation team at National Bank means working with a business capabilities transformation unit to define and govern the analytical and operational target for data consumption and exposure within the Service Management domain.
Your Role
- Work closely with the Service Management domain’s Data Owner and apply data governance and management best practices as defined by the Data Office (CDO).
- Participate in the governance of the domain’s strategic initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to analyze impacts on data requirements, ensuring that project data is properly governed.
- Identify the needs of data consumers and make recommendations in collaboration with the Data Owner.
- Contribute to the evolution of the business data model and ensure proper documentation of domain data.
- Provide leadership in continuous improvement and data quality management throughout its lifecycle (e.g., defining targets, thresholds, monitoring anomalies).

Within the Hyper‑Automation sector, you will be part of a unit responsible for transforming the sector and will report to the Senior Director - Hyper‑Automation, and in a matrix structure to the Data Owner - Service Management. Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, and 2 to 3 years of experience in data governance, data architecture, data analysis, or any other data‑related field.
- Ability to understand business needs and propose solutions to evolve data models.
- Strong ability to structure and document information in a rigorous and standardized manner.
- Excellent understanding of data quality, traceability, and consistency issues.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong business knowledge in service management, case management, or operations management- a significant asset.
- Proficiency with data documentation and governance tools (Collibra, EBX, PowerDesigner, etc.)-an asset.
