Description
A career as a Senior Business Management Analyst in the Equities group at National Bank means acting as a key contributor to post-trade support and operational excellence. The position is heavily involved in new product initiatives and ongoing process improvements aimed at enhancing the team’s support model. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining robust control through continuous review and enhancement, while keeping the client experience at the forefront of every interaction.
Your role
- Provide post-execution support by ensuring trades, commissions, and related fees are accurately recorded and reconciled in internal systems
- Analyze and resolve post-trade breaks, discrepancies, and data integrity issues through investigation and follow-up
- Participate in process optimization initiatives, including automation opportunities, system enhancements, and workflow improvements
- Ensure commission management system data integrity by performing daily transactions reconciliations
- Contribute to new product initiatives and commission-sharing integrations by defining efficient operational processes
- Maintain and improve procedural documentation, configurations, and data conformity rules to ensure robust controls
- Prepare and deliver operational and statistical reports for the trading desk and contribute to related projects

Requirements
- Hold a university certificate with relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience in Capital Markets environments
- Proficiency in transaction reconciliation, data analysis, or control processes
- Experience working with operational systems, commission management tools, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical skills and interest in process optimization and automation
- Capacity to communicate clearly when explaining issues or recommendations
- Attention to detail and sense of accountability
- Comfort working in a dynamic, evolving environment
