You will play a key role in the continuous improvement of our processes by leveraging your interpersonal skills, analytical mindset, and expertise in risk management and internal controls.
Your Role
- Actively participate in audit mandates by taking ownership of specific sections or acting as mandate lead
- Contribute to audit planning, including risk assessment and the definition of audit objectives
- Identify key risks related to audited processes and define effective audit strategies, including the use of data analytics to detect trends and anomalies
- Evaluate internal controls, analyze identified issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to determine root causes and propose sustainable improvements
- Draft audit findings with clarity and relevance, ensuring alignment with mandate objectives, and present results to management with impact and precision
- Ensure structured and rigorous follow-up of action plans resulting from internal audit mandates and regulatory recommendations
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering smooth collaboration with audit teams, second line of defense functions, and external auditors

Two teams within Internal Audit are currently looking for a Senior Auditor:
- The team responsible for auditing activities related to Personal Banking, Client Experience, and Compliance
- The Professional Support team, which supports all Internal Audit teams by contributing to a variety of mandates across multiple business sectors of the Bank

Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Holder of a recognized professional designation (CPA, CIA, or equivalent), or in the process of obtaining one
- Demonstrated experience in internal or external audit, including planning, execution, and review of audit mandates
- Solid knowledge of audit standards (e.g., IIA, Canadian Auditing Standards) and best practices in risk and control management
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple files simultaneously
- Proven leadership and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, results-oriented mindset, and ability to influence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify and synthesize information
- Proficiency in data analysis and ability to formulate relevant diagnoses
- Collaborative mindset and openness to diverse experiences
- Occasional availability for travel
