A career as a senior analyst in the Trade Support team at National Bank Independent Network (NBIN) means playing a key role in post-trade processing and client service. As a senior analyst, you will act as a subject matter expert, supporting both clients and internal partners while driving operational excellence.
Your role
- Manage post-trade booking, allocation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, resolving trade breaks, settlement mismatches, and FX issues.
- Collaborate with internal desks and external brokers to ensure timely matching and settlement of trades.
- Educate clients on processes and procedures during onboarding and throughout the client relationship.
- Identify trends, document procedures, and lead initiatives to improve processes and efficiency.
- Participate in strategic projects to close operational gaps and support revenue opportunities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum two years of experience in brokerage or financial markets with knowledge of trading and settlement
- Understanding of securities products such as equities, fixed income, and listed options
- Familiarity with Canadian, US, and international settlement processes (CDS, DTC, FED, Euroclear)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both verbal and written
- French is an asset
