A career as a Senior Analyst - Securities Operations (Team Lead) at National Bank Trust means acting as a specialist in the various processes related to the settlement of securities transactions at National Bank Trust. Additionally, as a Team Lead, you play a coordination role supporting Section Managers. This position allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your knowledge of institutional account management and your skills in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting diverse data while making recommendations.

Your Role

• Act as a practice leader (Team Lead) for your colleagues.

• Handle non-standard rejected transactions to ensure settlement or payment.

• Serve as a resource person for business line account managers, internal and external portfolio managers, and other operational teams.

• Respond to various inquiries, mainly via email but also by phone.

• Analyze various reconciliation types, explain discrepancies, and make recommendations to resolve issues.

• Master end-to-end processes related to securities custody to provide quality support.

 

Your team has the mandate to ensure the settlement of daily securities transactions from institutional portfolio managers. We also implement and maintain daily controls required for the smooth functioning of operations.


Your Team

Within the National Bank Trust sector, you are part of a large team of 85 colleagues and report to the Senior Director of Operations at National Bank Trust. Our team stands out for its agility, dynamism, and personalized client approach.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor's degree and 3 to 4 years of experience, or a 3-year college diploma (DEC) and 6 to 7 years of experience.

• Experience analyzing complex issues.

• Experience in internal and external customer service (an asset).

• Knowledge of operational processes for securities settlement.

• Leadership and demonstrated ability to handle tasks.

• Proficiency in Excel.

• Ease in communicating issues.
