Joining the strategic Wealth Management team at National Bank as a Product Owner means becoming a key player in transformation and innovation. With your expertise in wealth management, you will have the opportunity to lead high-stakes projects, particularly in regulatory domains or within the OSS-DATA train, where your ability to anticipate and influence will be crucial for collective success.

This role allows you to have a positive impact on our organization, thanks to your knowledge of the investment field.

Your Role:

  • Influence as a Product Owner (PO) to define the scope and prioritize milestones for optimal delivery while respecting regulatory standards or legislative deadlines.
  • Make necessary decisions for roadmap delivery (continuous prioritization based on challenges/opportunities) involving multiple stakeholders (complex projects impacting multiple functionalities) ensuring end-to-end implementation.
  • Solution breakdown and sequencing to secure regulatory posture by considering constraints and interdependencies with other projects or sectors. This includes identifying risk-taking opportunities to lighten solicited capacities or integrate requirements into upcoming initiative roadmaps.
  • Accompany and support changes to processes and systems by identifying monitoring and control mechanisms that ensure follow-up and re-evaluation over time.
  • Identify the owner of the assets or processes, if applicable, to ensure governance and future compliance with these standards
  • Carry out the operational transfer to the teams responsible for the concerned processes or assets
  • Be responsible for the scope, budget tracking, schedule, and organizational capacities required throughout the project. This implicitly includes being responsible for identifying opportunities for simplification while ensuring an optimal customer and employee experience upon delivery of the requirement

Your Team: 

Within the Business Strategies, Wealth Management sector, you are part of a team of about forty colleagues and report to the Senior Manager - OSS Business Lead and Regulatory MPO. Our team stands out for its cross-functionality and strategic contribution to dossiers, interfacing with all Wealth Management business lines and the rest of the organization.

Prerequisites:

 

  • Bachelor's degree related to the sector and six years of relevant experience OR Master's degree related to the sector and four years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of the Wealth Management sector and process
  • Experience in solution delivery as a Product Owner (PO).
  • Ability to work in Agile mode: Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and deliver without having all specifications.
  • Ability to work in a matrix mode, influence, and rally multiple stakeholders.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and sense of innovation.
