A career as a Manager in the Operations Distribution investments team - ODI (Operations investments) means working at the heart of delivering products and services to National Bank savings and investments clients.

Transferring an ODI account transfer team, which includes around 20 employees, means implementing the actions needed to deliver the service offering while respecting established quality standards and continuously improving the efficiency, productivity and profitability of your sector. It also involves engaging and maximising your employees' contribution, while ensuring their development and skills development through personalised coaching.

Your job

  • Manage a team of four employees (managers and professional executives) in a context of transformation and be responsible for internal and external account transfers (mutual funds and GICs) for all types of accounts (RRSP, RRIF/LIF, TFSA, RESP)
  • Manage a strategic relationship with internal and external partners in order to establish a collaborative relationship influence decisions and promote increased activity volumes
  • Develop a business plan for your sector aligned with the Bank's objectives
  • Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity
  • Help improve operations by identifying and correcting problems
  • Stay at with the latest technology and work processes to increase productivity and reduce costs
  • Help your team excel by setting and following performance objectives
  • Rigorously manage your budget and operational risks by complying with the standards and regulations related to your processes
  • Insure compliance with service agreements and key indicators related to the experience of our clients and partners
  • Motivate and help your employees progress and develop their skills
  • Collaborate effectively with partners related to your department

Your team

In Operations investments, you are part of a large team reporting to it Operations. Your future Account Transfer - ODI team must keep abreast of all technological and regulatory opportunities to ensure the integration of market best practises related to mutual funds. You work with two section managers to ensure the service delivery and performance of your team.

Prerequisites

  • Master's degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience
  • Operational team management experience; natural leadership skills
  • Experience in simplifying and optimising processes
  • Experience in planning and organising work based on volume resources and priorities
  • Experience in managing operational performance (KPIs, timeframes, quality) and collective performance (synergy and teamwork)
  • Communication and team engagement skills
