Senior back-end developer

A career as a senior back-end developer in the Financial Crime Solutions team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in back-end application development. Your role

• Develop and deploy features that deliver tangible value to business partners
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and Agile deliveries

Your team

The Financial Crime Solutions Vice-Presidency includes over 30 specialists who work in an agile, proactive, and collaborative way to seize opportunities, stay at the forefront of technology, and continuously improve processes.

Within the Financial Crime Solutions sector, you’ll be part of a large team of developers and report to the development team lead. Our team stands out for its expertise in security, commitment to innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or related diploma in the field, with over 4 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in Agile software development
• Proficiency in Java (version 10+), Spring Boot, REST/API, Apache Maven, and microservices
• Familiarity with Git/Gitflow and Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
• Strong attention to code optimization and quality, Adaptability, Collaborative mindset, Team spirit and Clear and effective communication

Required languages

• Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written
