ICAAP Risk Assessment Analyst

The ICAAP Risk Assessment Analyst supports governance, documentation, and control processes for strategic risk initiatives. The Analyst helps maintain ICAAP documentation, supports audit processes, and contributes to the Bank’s risk appetite framework. The role also supports ICAAP risk identification and assessment documentation and collaborates with modeling and capital teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain ICAAP documentation and support regulatory submissions. Ensure documentation supports ICAAP risk identification and assessment.
  • Assist with internal and external audit reviews related to ICAAP and strategic risk. Support audit readiness for ICAAP-related capital adequacy and risk processes.
  • Track ICAAP-related governance approvals and attestations. Ensure governance records align with OSFI E-19 expectations.
  • Support documentation and reporting for the Bank’s risk appetite framework. Ensure risk appetite documentation reflects ICAAP integration.
  • Monitor control effectiveness and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Support continuous improvement of ICAAP documentation and controls.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years in risk governance, audit, or compliance. Exposure to operational risk and ICAAP documentation preferred.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of OSFI regulatory expectations and ICAAP reporting. Familiarity with ICAAP risk identification and assessment documentation is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data visualization and reporting.
