Your job
- Anticipate governance trends, best practices, and regulatory developments, and provide recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Implement innovative governance frameworks and policies tailored to the Bank’s needs, and assess their impact.
- Provide legal opinions and prepare documentation for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Act as an expert on privileged information management, insider obligations, lobbying activities, and the Disclosure Committee.
- Draft, review, and advise on continuous disclosure documents, including the Management Proxy Circular, press releases, and regulatory reports.
- Contribute to the Annual Meeting of Shareholders and represent the Bank before regulators, industry associations, and external advisors.

Prerequisites
- Bachelor of Laws and 10+ years of experience in governance and continuous disclosure, gained with a public issuer or in private practice.
- Member in good standing of the Chambre des notaires du Québec or the Barreau du Québec
- Excellent analytical and legal writing skills
- Strategic leadership and ability to manage complex, high-visibility mandates.
