Description
A career as a Technical Advisor within National Bank Financial Legal Affairs means playing a key role in the Litigation and Regulatory Investigations team by managing the lifecycle of files, coordinating billing and insurance matters, and producing various reports tracking the evolution of legal matters. This role allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your ability to prioritize, your organizational skills, and your attention to details.
Your role:

Manage the lifecycle of legal files in the software GaLexy (opening, updating, closing, archiving) and serve as the team’s point of contact for the legal file management tool.
Keep tracking and reporting tools updated and generate necessary reports to reflect the progress of cases.
Take charge of and coordinate the billing process for external law firms (indexing and processing of invoices, coordinating approvals, handling follow-ups, reconciling payments, and managing year-end status reports).
Take charge of and coordinate the insurance claims process (submit notices and claims, disbursements, reimbursement requests, deposits, reconciliations, and communications with the insurer).
Contribute to resolving billing or insurance claims issues.
Provide cross-functional operational support (access management, IT requests, logistics, onboarding/offboarding of employees) and assist with document management initiatives (archiving, extraction, verification, secure destruction).

You work in the Litigation and Regulatory Investigations team within National Bank Financial Legal Affairs, serving the Capital Markets and Wealth Management sectors. - A relevant college diploma
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite including strong familiarity with Excel
