Guided by our 100% open-architecture philosophy, the Office of the Chief Investment and Risk Officer is responsible for managing the standards of excellence in portfolio management required of the managers selected by BNI, as well as managing and optimizing investment solutions to better meet the needs of our clients.
Your role- Conduct due diligence mandates on current or potential open-architecture portfolio managers
- Contribute to the drafting of analysis reports on the investment processes of external portfolio managers
- Ensure the ongoing monitoring and enhancement of quantitative analyses of the strategies offered
- Participate in operational due diligence mandates of portfolio managers
- Influence decision-making by drafting and presenting rigorous analyses on products under review and formulating recommendations for action
- Lead meetings with external managers and influence decisions regarding the use of their products and potential partnerships with the firm
- Oversee the application of investment policies for managed solutions and strategic portfolio positioning decisions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in portfolio construction
- Stay up to date on developments in the field to ensure a high-quality service offering
- Represent BNI on selected industry committees
- Perform ongoing monitoring of certain open-ended private asset strategies

Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, with five to eight years of relevant experience
- Ability to work closely with multiple partners in the execution of projects
- Strong report-writing skills
- Ability to simplify and communicate concepts related to financial markets
- CFA®, CIPM®, or other professional designation
- Experience within an investment management firm
- Knowledge of a programming language (VBA, Python) and familiarity with AI concepts
