About the Position
In this role, you will be responsible for actively contributing to project execution while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
 
More specifically, you will be responsible for :
  • Reading plans, diagrams, and schematics to determine work procedures;
  • Installing, aligning, dismantling, and moving fixed industrial machinery or mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, boilers, and generators, according to plans and using hand and power tools;
  • Operating lifting devices and equipment such as cranes, jacks, and tractors to position machinery and parts during installation, assembly, and repair;
  • Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and defects;
  • Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as programmable controllers;
  • Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts;
  • Using machining tools, including lathes and grinders, to fabricate parts required for repair, maintenance, or assembly of machinery;
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery;
  • Building foundations for machinery installation or supervising other workers in the construction of such foundations;
  • Assembling machinery and equipment using hand and power tools and welding equipment prior to installation.
