What You’ll Do Daily: At the Heart of Service and PerformanceAs an HVAC Technician, you will join our existing service team as a key point of contact for our clients in the Greater Montreal area. You will directly contribute to the proper functioning and energy efficiency of HVAC and automation systems.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems (HVAC/R).
- Control Systems: Diagnose, repair, and maintain building automation systems (DDC control). We value skilled technicians eager to assist in controls!
- Emergency Response: Respond to service calls and quickly identify the causes of malfunctions.
- Installation: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new HVAC systems.
- Reports & Compliance: Prepare detailed service reports and ensure installations meet current standards.
- Client Advice: Advise clients on preventive maintenance of equipment.
We are looking for a professional who thrives on problem-solving and delivering exceptional customer service!
- Education: Vocational Diploma (DEP) in Refrigeration (HVAC Technician).
- Certification: Valid CCQ HVAC Technician card (Journeyman or 4th-year apprentice).
- Experience: On-site or service experience in a similar role.
- Essential: Valid driver’s license.
- Qualities: Resourceful, proactive, organized, methodical, and excellent interpersonal skills!
- Bonus: Interest or knowledge in building automation/DDC control systems.
