Reporting to the Director of Philanthropic Development, the incumbent manages the donor recognition program as well as the annual campaign programs. This role involves frequent communication with donors (thank-you messages and encouragement to become monthly donors). The officer works closely with other members of the philanthropic development team, the public relations officer, and the marketing and communications team to design and execute fundraising campaigns.

More specifically, the selected candidate will:


- Manage the donor recognition program and oversee its implementation;
- Be responsible for the retention of individual donors;
- Plan, coordinate, implement, and monitor (key performance indicators) annual campaigns (direct mail, email campaigns, special initiatives);
- Oversee the acquisition of new donors through annual campaigns;
- Grow the monthly donor segment;
- Collaborate closely with communications (marketing and PR), corporate campaigns, and events teams to ensure alignment of solicitation approaches and communication tools;
- Participate in the preparation of various reports;
- Develop personalized relationships with certain donors;
- Draft certain communications (mainly for recognition and fundraising appeals);
- Perform any other tasks to support the philanthropy team during peak periods (e.g., the holiday season).

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a client relations role;
- Experience in a non-profit organization or foundation is an asset;
- Experience in process or project management;
- Basic computer knowledge to use Microsoft Office and related tools.

Working Conditions
- Permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week);
- Hybrid work arrangement with 3 days remote work per week;
- Annual salary between $52,797 and $65,996 depending on experience;
- Eligibility for an annual bonus;
