In this position, you’ll be a key contributor within the Marketing team.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role will focus on managing the web presence, social media platforms, and coordinating digital marketing initiatives for MAPEI Canada. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will work with the rest of the Digital division of the Marketing Department to maintain the company's digital assets, manage requests from distributors and partners, and ensure a cohesive and engaging online brand experience.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Web (60%)

  • Update and maintain the company’s website using a content management system (CMS).
  • Ensure content is fresh, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the Digital team to enhance website layout and functionality.

Social Media (20%)

  • Develop and execute social media strategies that support overall marketing goals.
  • Create, schedule, and post content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Monitor and engage with audiences, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.

Partner & Distributor Support (10%)

  • Act as the main point of contact for digital marketing requests from distributors and partners.
  • Ensure timely updates and delivery of digital assets (banners, product info, etc.).
  • Address and resolve any digital content issues or requests from external partners.

Administrative (10%)

  • Help coordinate between departments for the timely execution of digital strategies.
  • Contribute to brainstorming and creative discussions for digital marketing initiatives.
  • Research market and competitor digital strategies and provide insights to improve digital presence.
  • All other administrative tasks that may be approved by the Marketing Director

Requested skills

Skills and competencies required

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education.
  • Years of experience : Between 1 and 3 years of experience in website management, community management, and client management.
  • Languages spoken and written : French and English
  • Knowledge and understanding of website back-end Content Management Systems (CMS). Experience with Sitefinity is an asset.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook). Experience with social media management platforms (HootSuite, Sprout) is an asset.
  • Graphic design knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) are assets.
  • Office automation softwares : MS Office Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook)
  • Autonomy and creativity
