We are seeking motivated and innovative individuals for our Business Analyst Intern/Co-op Summer 2026 term roles. Successful candidates will collaborate with team members to address analytic needs, support strategic planning processes, and drive Manulife's strategic priorities. Ideal applicants are currently studying Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field and possess strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and the ability to adapt to changing environments. Experience with Excel, Power BI, SQL, and SEO analysis is a plus.

Position Responsibilities:
- Perform innovative and problem-solving work while learning how transformations impact a business.
- Collaborate with team members to assess, manage, and respond to the ongoing needs of analytics.
- Partner with team members to drive Manulife's strategic priorities, you will represent the team on cross-functional work, identify issues, escalate as required, and recommend solutions to keep priorities on track.
- Research and analysis of industry trends, market positioning, or competitive activity related to a component of an overall segment/function strategy may be consistently performed for the team.
- Support the implementation of a strategic planning framework and processes that engage leaders in effective strategic dialogues, decision-making, and planning.
- Promote and enable a high degree of collaboration among stakeholders and decision-makers to ensure successful and quick delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Studying Finance, Economics, Law, or relevant undergraduate degree.
- 1 year of business experience including business analysis, business requirement documentation or project management experience a plus.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- A strong ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and the ability to work through internal ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Highly developed planning, organizing, and negotiating skills; can manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proven innovative thinker and problem solver; brings a big-picture perspective - the ability to see how all the pieces fit together and contribute to the achievement of broader organizational objectives; strong business acumen and judgment.
- Working knowledge of Excel and Excel VBA Macros, Power BI, SQL, and SEO analysis is a bonus.
