Senior Manager, Information Risk Assurance Program

As the Senior Manager, Information Risk Assurance, you'll lead assurance activities, working closely with different lines of defense to bolster our risk management processes. You'll focus on evolving our assurance practices, standardizing procedures, and ensuring compliance with global information risk management standards.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teams to identify control improvements and develop corrective action plans.

  • Conduct assurance activities across information security domains, including business continuity, third-party risk, and cybersecurity.

  • Drive automation and standardization of assurance processes to enhance efficiency.

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership and business units.

  • Stay abreast of evolving information and technology risks, regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Manage multiple assurance projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, business resiliency, or technology risk management within a large enterprise.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, network security, and information security controls.

  • Experience in risk advisory consulting and analyzing complex data sets.

  • Strong communication, consulting, and report-writing skills.

  • Ability to quickly grasp business processes and their risk implications.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.

  • Recognized professional designations (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM) are highly desirable.

Salary range is expected to be between

$94,220.00 CAD - $174,980.00 CAD
