Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee, manage, and coordinate a variety of business initiatives to drive delivery, manage project resources, time and budget while providing expertise in identifying business impacts and working with project team to drive strong business readiness. The ideal candidate will be part of the Insurance Operations Strategy & Transformation Leadership team, contributing to overall strategy and team engagement as we continue to transform our operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Project management of initiatives related to continuous improvement of processes, automation, promoting digitization and expense reduction initiatives
Support requests from functional areas that are required for processing transactional requests timely and accurately, and safeguarding customer assets
Execution and support of the Company, Divisional and Operations strategy
Work with stakeholders to define and manage the scope, strategy, requirements and implementation of projects.
Develop cost-benefit analyses for project initiatives.
Insure that assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client business objectives.
Identify, analyze, mitigate, document, and control project risks.
Provide effective and regular communication within the project team, stakeholders, sponsors and management.
Manage client and team expectations and relationships.
Identify resource needs for the project and establishes roles, expectations, and goals with team members.
Participate in negotiation of contract terms and conditions to compliance with contract terms for project consultants and vendors.
Conduct After-Action-Reviews.
Stay current to market and industry trends through training, self-study, trade contact, and trade and industry conferences.
Share best practices and initiatives with other functional areas in Operations
Partner with IT to ensure common focus and execution of technology initiatives
Ensure delivery of services from key vendors
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing and leading complex business initiatives, including process improvement, technology implementations, and new product development.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated track record of identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Demonstrate a strong ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely and challenge the status quo while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
A strategic mindset with the ability to align business initiatives with organizational long-term goals and objectives.
Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends related to business process improvement and new product development.
Strong facilitation skills and ability to build team consensus utilizing strong conflict management skills.
Ability to translate issues and problems into effective business solutions.
Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field, preferred.
PMP and/or Agile certification preferred
Exposure to or experience supporting digital transformation, AI, or automation initiatives is an asset.
Understanding of change impacts on processes, roles, and employee adoption, with the ability to support transition to new ways of working.

Salary range is expected to be between
$88,800.00 CAD - $138,800.00 CADEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
