As part of this ambition, the Global Marketing Strategy & Transformation team plays a critical role in enabling enterprise strategy, driving alignment, and ensuring clear visibility into progress and performance across the organization.
This role is ideal for a high performing strategy or operations professional who thrives at the intersection of executive reporting, strategic planning, and day-to-day leadership enablement. Acting as an advisor to the Global CMO and Marketing Leadership Team, you will help shape the narrative of Global Marketing, track delivery of strategic priorities, and ensure clarity, alignment, and momentum across a global organization.
Position Responsibilities:
Executive Reporting & Decision Enablement
Own the executive reporting cadence for Global Marketing, partnering with Portfolio Oversight & Reporting teams to track strategic initiatives, performance metrics, risks, and outcomes.
Develop high quality content for Board, ELT, and leadership forums, including strategy updates, operating reviews, and ad hoc executive requests.
Translate complex information into clear, concise, and decision-oriented narratives, recommending actions, options, and implications.
Proactively identify misalignment, execution risk, or strategic gaps and escalate with thoughtful, solution-oriented recommendations.
Strategic Operations
Partner closely with the Global CMO and Marketing Leadership Team to manage priorities, planning rhythms, and follow through.
Drive alignment across regions and capabilities by maintaining global marketing roadmaps, calendars, and operating cadences.
Prepare leadership for key moments including strategy reviews, planning cycles, and enterprise initiatives.
Governance, Risk & Operational Excellence
Own and coordinate control and governance processes, including intersections with compliance, privacy, risk, audit, procurement, and expense management.
Ensure Global Marketing operates in accordance with enterprise policies while maintaining agility and effectiveness.
Spearhead knowledge management and information sharing, enabling consistency, reusability, and institutional memory across the function.
Strategy Execution & Special Projects
Support the end-to-end delivery of high priority strategic initiatives sponsored by the Global CMO or Marketing Leadership Team.
Conduct structured research and analysis on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities relevant to Global Marketing strategy.
Synthesize insights, articulate trade‑offs, and recommend strategic options, implementation plans, and success metrics.
Partner with execution teams to transition strategy into action, maintaining momentum and accountability.
Influence, Communication & Change Leadership
Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior leaders across Marketing and the enterprise.
Build alignment across diverse stakeholders, geographies, and cultures through strong collaboration and influence.
Act as a change agent, reinforcing strategic direction, clarity of purpose, and disciplined execution.
Required Qualifications:
Have 5+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, strategic operations, or Chief of Staff-type roles.
Are comfortable operating close to senior leadership and enabling decisions through strong analysis and communication.
Excel at creating executive quality materials and navigating ambiguity.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial acumen.
Proven ability to influence without authority and build alignment across geographies and cultures.
Comfort working across time zones (occasional meetings in HKT).
Bring experience from top tier management consulting, investment banking, or in-house strategy teams.
Can move fluidly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Are known for being organized, pragmatic, influential, and highly credible.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Business or equivalent; MBA is an asset.
Experience in a large, complex, multinational organization; financial services experience is a plus.

Salary range is expected to be between
$103,270.00 CAD - $153,270.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
