Manager, Global WAM FP&A

Reporting to the Director, Head of GWAM FP&A, the Manager, GWAM Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will support the growth of the Global Wealth and Asset Management (GWAM) franchise by delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and analysis. They will develop deep knowledge of GWAM’s Retail, Retirement, and Institutional Advisory businesses through collaboration with finance partners. The role leverages internal and industry insights to produce high‑value research, analysis, and recommendations for senior leaders. It also involves developing enhanced reports and metrics that support informed decision‑making and creating clear, relevant management reporting for key stakeholders across the organization.

Position Responsibilities

  • Taking on a leadership role in consolidating, analyzing, and synthesizing large amounts of complex financial and non-financial information from numerous suppliers from GWAM BU Finance and Reporting teams.

  • Preparing high-quality monthly and quarterly reports, dashboards and presentations that are presented to the GWAM BU and Regional heads, in a timely and organized fashion.

  • Contributing to strategy and business-led discussions by providing financial insights, business trends and understanding of our overall GWAM objectives; providing quantification or “proof points” to support decisions

  • Serving as a GWAM Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various cross-company strategic initiatives and projects; offering GWAM-specific lenses to issue considerations and resolution; helping to develop a GWAM talent pool by training and mentoring junior members of the Finance team

  • Helping to develop and operationalize best-in-class reporting framework, including financial and non-financial metrics and KPIs to illustrate key levers for differentiation and growth and enable forward-looking decisions

  • Demonstrating strong attention to detail, focusing on financial integrity, consolidation, alignment, and consistency in “look and feel” deliverables.

  • Working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders; building and leveraging relationships by understanding their issues and challenges.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) preferred

  • 6-8 years of experience in a finance role; Wealth and Asset Management industry experience an asset

  • Demonstrated experience in developing, reviewing, and working with financial models. Skilled at analyzing potential risks. Outstanding analytical skills with a critical thinking approach and strong attention to detail.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; Essbase/ledger experience would be an asset

  • Thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑performing environment while managing shifting priorities and ad‑hoc requests.

  • Brings a proactive, continuous‑improvement outlook with strong curiosity and problem‑solving skills.

  • Excels in analysis, critical thinking, and storytelling to produce clear, compelling presentations.

  • Communicates with clarity and confidence, engaging leaders and collaborators effectively.

Salary range is expected to be between

$92,900.00 CAD - $142,900.00 CAD
