Position Responsibilities:
Continuously evaluates and improves the DevOps processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Coordinates the automation of manual and repetitive tasks, applying tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Implements and manages containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes.
Manages and optimizes cloud infrastructure and services on platforms ensuring the security and scalability of cloud-based environments.
Creates and maintains comprehensive up-to-date documentation accessible to the team for configurations, processes, and procedures.
Implements and enforces security leading practices throughout the development and deployment processes.
Implements infrastructure as code (IaC) principles for automated provisioning and configuration.
Required Qualifications:
.7+ years DevOps experience
•Experience in designing, improving, and operating CI/CD release pipelines
•Experience with TeamCity and its API/pipeline as code capabilities is a must.
•Experience with containers and container orchestrations systems such as Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), HELM & GitOps
•Experience with version control tools such as GitHub.
•Experience in Jenkins & GitHub Actions.
•Experience with cloud services and operations preferably in Azure
•Experience in OS platforms such as Linux, Unix and Windows
•Experience working in teams using agile methodology
•Experience in Unix/Linux
•Experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python or Bash
•Experience in Artifacts Management tools such as Artifactory.
•Experience in Database Technologies such as MS SQL, SQLMI, Oracle, DB2
•Experience in Security and Code Quality scanning tools such as SNYK, Contrast and SonarQube
•Good understanding of programming languages like C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Go and .NET Frameworks.
•Emphasis on automation
Preferred Qualifications:
•Development experience in Java, C# or Node.JS
•Experience using JIRA, ServiceNow, PowerApps
•Azure Certifications: Azure Fundamentals; Azure DevOps; etc.
•DevOps/DevSecOps Certifications
•ITIL Certifications

Salary range is expected to be between
$75,880.00 CAD - $140,920.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
