AI Transformation Analyst

The AI Transformation Analyst plays a key role in supporting Manulife’s journey to become Customer Obsessed by supporting the delivery and enablement of AI, automation, and digital tools that improve operational efficiency. In this role, you will analyze business processes, assess pain points, gather requirements, and support the development of simple, scalable digital solutions using AI and low‑code tools. You will work closely with operations teams, technical partners, and the Business Digital Enablement team to advance digital transformation initiatives that enhance employee and customer experiences.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze operational workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities using AI tools such as Copilot, GPT, and formsAI.

  • Gather and document business requirements, process maps, and improvement opportunities.

  • Support the design of future‑state processes and assist with solution validation, testing, and user feedback cycles.

  • Utilize low‑code/no‑code tools (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to help build out solutions that support business operations.

  • Support the creation of reusable components, templates, and documentation to enable scalable solution development.

  • Partner with business units to understand operational challenges and translate them into actionable solution requirements.

  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and align with transformation objectives.

  • Provide support for communications, demos, and training related to AI and automation initiatives.

  • Monitor solution performance metrics and contribute to reporting on KPIs and transformation outcomes.

  • Stay current on AI trends, emerging technologies, low‑code advancements, and best practices in digital process improvement.

  • Recommend process improvement and automation opportunities based on analysis.

  • Provide recommendations to senior analysts, leads, or managers on solution feasibility and requirements.

  • Support data readiness activities for AI use cases (data mapping, quality checks, feature identification - not ML building).

  • Assist in building and testing copilots embedded into operational workflows.

  • Partner with Risk/Legal/Compliance on responsible AI requirements.

  • Partner with change management to design adoption plans, readiness metrics, and stakeholder communications Facilitate workshops/discovery/ideation sessions.

  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in business operations, process analysis, digital transformation, or automation support roles.

  • Foundational experience in process mapping, requirements gathering, or workflow analysis.

  • Interest in learning low‑code tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

  • Comfort working with structured data and curiosity about how AI/automation can improve processes.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience building simple workflows or apps using low-code tools (e.g. Power Automate, Power Apps) or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage several initiatives simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in AI, automation, and process improvement is an asset.

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.

Salary range is expected to be between

$59,100.00 CAD - $98,500.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
