What we offer:Job Responsibilities:
The Magna HR systems team is a fast-growing team meant to support day to day activities of Payroll and HR practitioners within our Canadian and US operations. This role is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance for the Dayforce Time and Payroll modules.
We are seeking a motivated Support Specialist to join our HRIS support team with a focus on configuration and support with Payroll & Time & Attendance in Dayforce, complemented by foundational knowledge of payroll processes and employee life cycles
Your Responsibilities
In this role you will provide
Advanced payroll configuration:
Design & maintain complex payroll configurations
Ensure accurate calculations and legislative compliance across jurisdictions
Tier 3 Issue resolution & root cause analysis:
Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams
General Ledger (GL) Mapping & Financial Integration:
Configure and maintain payroll-to-GL mappings, cost allocations, and account structures
Change Management & Payroll Enhancements:
Lead configuration for new implementations, structural changes, and legislative updates
Governance, Controls & Documentation
Other Payroll related tasks based on business requirements
Who we are looking for
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or related field
3-5 years in an HR, payroll, or systems support role; Dayforce experience preferred
Payroll and payroll systems experience with strong knowledge of HR, time, and employee data operations.
Experience with Dayforce and respective modules considered is an asset
HRIS System knowledge
