GENERAL FUNCTION

The Operations Finance Manager will be responsible for financial reporting, planning, and analysis for North American Logistics operations. This role interacts deeply with Operations Leadership providing support, obtaining and summarizing critical data leveraging automated reporting solutions and analytics. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities and business acumen with exceptional competency in business intelligence tools as well as understanding of logistic operations.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the financials for Rx facilities across Canada
  • Act as a finance partner to operations leadership team
  • Manage labor productivity targets and identify ways to improve NLH within sites based on network understanding
  • Monitor operational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and manage budgets for operations and supply chain functions.
  • Provide financial forecasts and variance analyses to support decision-making
  • Analyze consumables expenses by location and identify areas for process improvement and expense reduction
  • Develop new analytics tools to help control cost and identify efficiencies
  • Partner with Supply chain on improving the volume demand plans/capability
  • Support network integrations and simplify complex reporting structures across multiple ERPs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or Statistics
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience in positions that require analytical business experience and/or operations finance experience.
  • Previous experience in Logistic, Operations or Manufacturing companies
  • An ability and interest in working in a fast-paced, ambiguous and rapidly-changing environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master in Business Administration
  • Experience in building business intelligence infrastructure and solutions (from data warehouse development to interactive dashboards)
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Proficiency in French language

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
