The forklift operator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, moving, and shipping products.
- Know and comply at all times with quality and food safety standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies;
- Inspect the forklift before use according to company standards;
- Load, unload, and move products and/or materials using a forklift;
- Ensure that products and materials are in the right place at the right time;
- Ensure the good condition of all products and materials being moved.
- Experience operating a forklift (1-3 years), an asset;
- Ability to perform physical work in challenging weather conditions;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Ability to manage priorities efficiently;
- Good computer skills;
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and remain standing for long periods;
- Good manual dexterity;
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment;
- Ability to handle heavy loads.
