Essential Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of project specific document control standards and procedures, offering recommendations that enhance efficiency and strengthen overall document management practices
Conduct routine compliance and quality checks within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project requirements
Oversee the organization, maintenance, and lifecycle management of all project documentation, while mentoring team members and delegating tasks to maintain smooth document workflows
Assist project teams with EDMS configuration and customization, ensuring the system is optimized to meet project needs
Deliver training and onboarding sessions for new subcontractors and project staff on EDMS functionality, providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, and guidance
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in document control, ideally in construction, engineering, or a related technical environment
Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with hands on experience using electronic document management systems
Experience with Document Management platforms; familiarity with InEight Document is a strong asset
Exceptional time management skills and the ability to solve atypical problems using proven methods and sound judgment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in client facing situations
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
