The Engagement Processing (EP) function is a vital part of the firm’s Business Enablement Services and is focused delivering timely, high-quality products, while supporting an environment that enhances both the staff and client experience.
KPMG is looking for a Supervisor, Engagement Processing, which is a hands-on role responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day operations, ensuring accuracy and consistency in deliverables, supporting tax return processing activities, and guiding a team of Processors.
What you will do
- Oversee, supervise, and support the Tax EP Team across operations, performance management, training, and process implementation.
- Ensure timely, accurate processing and filing of tax returns by the EP Team; provide coaching, guidance, and hands‑on support.
- Support tax return processing, including assembling and efiling returns for GTA Tax practices with varied procedures.
- Participate in office rotation to assemble tax returns for delivery to internal staff and clients.
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy before filing.
- Maintain filing systems and manage lockdown processes.
- Serve as Tier‑2 escalation support for service delivery issues.
- Implement and monitor Tax EP policies, processes, templates, and quality standards.
- Optimize use of workflow systems and technology.
- Manage resource utilization, workload distribution, and staffing schedules.
- Monitor quality, client satisfaction and engagement feedback.
- Collaborate with EP Supervisors to ensure consistency and continuous improvement.
- Lead workflow optimization and promote a proactive team culture.
- Stay current on KPMG tools and tax software; ensure the team remains trained and up to date.
- Manage the full performance development cycle, including goal setting, reviews, and calibration.
- Motivate and support team members, addressing both positive and constructive feedback.
- Lead onboarding and facilitate regular team meetings.
- Identify training needs and work with counselees to address them.

What you bring to the role
- College diploma or an equivalent education/experience
- Minimum 5 years’ of administrative or data processing experience
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and relationship‑management skills
- Exceptional problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Advanced MS Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency
- Ability to work independently and manage a team
KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $82,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
