The Manager, Global Procurement( Strategic Sourcing Manager) is responsible for leading the contractual and commercial negotiations with third parties on medium to high complexity/medium to high risk transactions and supports the negotiations on high value/high complexity/high risk transactions for the Professional Services Category and various sub-categories within the Category (i.e. application development and maintenance, contingent labor, outsourcing, etc.).

 


What you will do

  • Leading the contractual and commercial negotiations with third parties on medium to high complexity/medium to high risk transactions
  • Supporting the negotiations on high value/high complexity/high risk transactions for the Professional Services Category and various sub-categories within the Category (i.e. application development and maintenance, contingent labor, outsourcing, etc.).
  • Supporting the development and execution of the category plans 
  • Conducting and executing RFPs/RFQs/RFIs

  • Assisting member firms in negotiations with products/services when procured through KPMG International
  • Participating in internal and external forums to build capability, establish a network of experts, Identify emerging trends and best practices for potential implementation


What you bring to the role

  • 5-7 Years, strategic sourcing / global procurement experience in Professional Services category/sub-categories (application development and maintenance, contingent labor, outsourcing, etc.) operating in multiple jurisdictions

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience

  • Certified Procurement professional qualifications are desirable.

  • Have knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices

  • An experienced Procurement professional responsible for all aspects of procurement operations (sourcing, contracting, ordering, etc.) within a large complex organization operating in multiple jurisdictions

  • Negotiating commercial, legal, standard terms and conditions

  • Understanding of supplier management (managing technical, schedule, commercial, and terms and conditions compliance
