KPMG’s Immigration Law practice is looking for an Immigration Coordinator (NIV), to join our US Immigration Law group. You will be part of a busy, fast-paced and ever-changing environment and will support the end-to-end processing of various non-immigrant (temporary) visa petitions and applications.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys a teamwork environment with client contact. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills, with a desire to work in and promote a client first focused culture.

What you will do
Deliver high volume U.S. business immigration services within deadlines
Implement various NIV visa strategies to meet clients' business needs and mitigate immigration risks
Use technology and digital initiatives to enhance the client experience
Review your work and that of others for quality, accuracy, and relevance
Prepare and compile supporting documents for application packages (letters, forms, etc.)
Develop and maintain an effective communication stream with other Coordinators, lawyers, and client stakeholders
Ensure that all client correspondence, documents and relevant data fields are recorded in the internal database(s)
Assist with preparing reports
Respond to clients and/or vendors regarding invoicing
Collect invoices, annotate billing codes, and submit to Accounts Payable upon receipt
Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices
Ensure timely billing of all work completed
Filing, photocopying, and mailing/courier
Any other administrative responsibilities as required
What you bring to the role
1+ years of experience in U.S. Business Immigration
Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Immigration law and the workflow of NIV files from initiation through to completion, including, but not limited to, H-1B, L-1, TN, and B-1 matters
College Paralegal Diploma or University Degree considered an asset
Analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment
Ability to locate and research information efficiently, to use it effectively, and to evaluate the quality of the information
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to relate to people at all levels
Outstanding attention to detail
Ability to effectively prioritize
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, multi-task, use initiative and to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $52,000 to $65,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
