1.JOB OBJECTIVES

  • Coordinate vaccine operations and allergen extraction activities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and corporate procedures.
  • Coordinate vaccine and allergen production operations based on departmental needs.
  • Supervise personnel in the Vaccines and Allergens sections.

2. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Vaccines

  • Coordinate activities within the Vaccines section:
  • Ensure effective feedback and communication with the team.
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of new employees.
  • Contribute to workplace health and safety management.
  • Ensure personnel compliance with corporate policies.
  • Participate in developing the department’s work schedule in collaboration with the immediate supervisor.
  • Prepare and share departmental KPIs according to established objectives.
  • Monitor daily operations and production performance improvement in alignment with corporate goals.
  • Oversee the supply of materials and components required for vaccine preparation.
  • Monitor and implement departmental change controls and related actions.
  • Participate in the preparation of CAPAs and departmental investigations, and related matters.

Allergen Production

  • Coordinate continuous allergen extraction operations, including:
  • Planning daily operations and improving production performance according to corporate goals.
  • Planning laboratory material and raw material requisitions for allergen extraction.
  • Maintaining and monitoring bulk and bottling inventory.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance department to ensure proper functioning of production equipment.
  • Monitor and implement departmental change controls and related actions.
  • Participate in the preparation of CAPAs and departmental investigations, and related matters.

Documentation

  • Prepare, verify, and reconcile Allergen production records.
  • Investigate formulation issues during vaccine production.
  • Respond to out-of-specification results from Quality Control (chemical and environmental analyses).
  • Contribute to drafting and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) involving the department, in compliance with GMP and corporate guidelines.

Personnel Supervision

Supervise staff in the Vaccines and Allergens sections, including:

  • Providing guidance and motivation while ensuring effective communication and feedback.
  • Participating in recruitment and training of new employees.
  • Preparing and conducting annual performance evaluations.
  • Participating in absenteeism management, disciplinary processes, and occupational health and safety.
  • Ensuring personnel compliance with corporate policies.
  • Assisting in developing the department’s work schedule in collaboration with the Head of Vaccines

Other

Perform any other related tasks deemed relevant to the position.

3. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT AND APTITUDES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or other relevant education, or College Diploma (DEC) in General or Technical Sciences.
  • Good knowledge of quality standards (GMP).
  • Knowledge in immunology.
  • Experience in personnel management.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Leadership and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to frequent priority changes.
  • Bilingual (French/English).
  • Good knowledge of Word and Excel software.
