1.JOB OBJECTIVES :
- Ensure that production and activities related to product inspection and packaging are carried out in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ensure the operational and budgetary efficiency of the packaging department.
2.PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the inspection and packaging teams.
- Train and coach employees within the department.
- Plan short-term schedules and coordinate the daily activities of the packaging department.
- Act as a leader in implementing continuous improvement standards.
- Conduct investigations and write incident reports related to the department.
- Draft, review, and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and packaging master files.
- Ensure the completion and accuracy of packaging records.
- Monitor and promote safety and compliance methods.
- Verify production records.
- In collaboration with other departments, coordinate various activities and projects.
- Ensure CAPAs/Change Controls are completed on time.
- Participate in various audits.
- Perform any other related tasks deemed relevant to the position.
3.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT AND APTITUDES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or other relevant education.
- 2 to 3 years of management experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in personnel supervision.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical operations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Leadership, initiative, and autonomy.
- Knowledge of serialization/aggregation.
- Strong organizational and results-oriented skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure with tight deadlines and frequent priority changes.
- Ability to establish, collect, and analyze data and statistics.
- Skills in continuous improvement, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal communication.
- Proficiency with computer tools (Microsoft Suite, Teams, etc.).
- Analytical and synthesis skills, sound judgment.
- Bilingual (French/English).
