Our client, a manufacturing company based in Drummondville, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all of the company’s financial activities, providing strategic and operational expertise to support the company’s growth and profitability.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in financial functions, preferably with experience in a chartered accountant.
  • CPA certification.
  • Varied experience in a medium-sized company with a variety of administrative responsibilities, not limited to accounting or finance.
  • A self-starter, able to take initiative and work independently to contribute to the company’s growth.

  • Record daily accounting transactions and oversee the timely closing of annual accounts.
  • Manage employee payroll, tax and social security declarations, and process customer and supplier invoices.
  • Update accounting systems and monitor tax, social security, and legal developments to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure industrial management control by calculating cost prices and managing day-to-day administrative activities such as insurance and legal matters.
