How you will do it:Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiringService, install, troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance and inspections on Tyco Integrated Fire & Security productsCapable of Working on customers networks in conjunction with their IT personnel.Testing and commissioning of systems.Service, installation and programming of Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion systems.Training of the end user on TIFS systems.Such other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor/Manager What we look for:Required Experience:Education:- High school diploma- Electronic Technician Certificate or equivalent experience with a commitment to upgrading and continuing educationSecurity installation and/or service experience or equivalent.Must be computer literate, have networking ability and a good knowledge of Computer operating systemsMechanical aptitude and be able to use hand and power toolsFluent English language written and verbal skills, demonstrated people and telephone skills, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essentialThe ability to meet deadlines and commitments and to adjust/adapt to new ideas and procedures is necessary Valid driver’s license, with a driver’s abstract required.Must be bondableThe candidate will undergo a criminal background check as part of the hiring process.Flexibility with hours expected to work is required.Availability to travelJohnson Controls’ Canadian subsidiaries are committed to providing reasonable accommodation to applicants, candidates and employees with disabilities, in accordance with applicable human rights legislation, and in Ontario, in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (“AODA”).
