Canada Games: Québec, 2027

The Canada Games are the country’s largest multi-sport competition and will bring together more than 3,500 high-calibre athletes and coaches in Quebec City from February 27 to March 14, 2027, across 22 sports. Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, the Games celebrate the perseverance and sportsmanship of young Canadian athletes.

Your Role

Ready to be part of history? As the Ticketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in the planning, implementation, and smooth operation of all ticketing activities before and during the 2027 Canada Games. You will manage daily ticketing operations, support the sales strategy, and ensure eff ective coordination with internal and external partners.

Reporting to the Manager, Accounting, your talent and energy will allow you to:

Deploy a ticketing program to increase awareness of the Canada Games;
Support the planning and execution of sales and promotional strategies;
Confi gure and maintain the complete ticketing system structure and conduct testing prior to on-sale periods;
Coordinate ticket distribution to partners, dignitaries, and external groups in collaboration with the relevant teams;
Develop and manage a detailed schedule of ticketing activities;
Collaborate with the marketing team to roll out promotional campaigns that support the sales strategy and ticketing objectives;
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ticketing related policies and contracts;
Provide fi rst-line support for ticket holders: inquiries, transfers, technical issues, and refund policies;
Participate in the planning and setup of on-site ticketing service locations during the Games, including procedures for ticket control, distribution, and on-site issue resolution.
Write, document, and update ticketing procedures;
Train and supervise volunteers assigned to ticketing;
Tackle unexpected challenges with creativity and energy as they arise along the way.

Keys to success

Here’s what you’ll need to be part of our team:

College diploma in business administration, marketing, retail management, or a related fi eld;
2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
Experience in sales or ticketing, ideally in the context of major events (an asset);
Familiarity with ticketing and reservation software;
Knowledge of the sports environment (an asset);
Excellent command of spoken and written French;
Criminal background check required.
Authorization to work in Canada

Winning Profile

Quickly understand how ticketing systems work and enjoy structuring simple, efficient, error-free processes;
Are comfortable with data, tracking, and reporting-inventory, sales, ticket categories, promotions and know how to extract useful insights;
Excel at coordination and keeping in touch with internal teams, marketing, partners, and the ticketing agency aligned without losing sight of priorities;
Are meticulous in applying ticketing policies, agreements, and processes, and can spot inconsistencies before they become issues;
Have an exceptional customer service mindset and can provide professional support to ticket holders, even during peak periods;
Remain calm, effi cient, and solution-oriented during on-sales and unexpected situations (because there will be some!);
Are motivated by event management and want to contribute directly to the spectator experience at the Games;
Are ready to live at the fast pace of the Games, with a schedule that sometimes falls outside the norm;
Based in the Quebec City region or ready to relocate to be part of the adventure.
